Testing Your Alarms
For an intruder alarm system to remain as effective as the day it was installed, it must be regularly tested and maintained. This is imperative as changes over time, or detectors not working correctly, could mean that your security system is compromised and mightn’t detect an intrusion onto your property or business. This can end up costing you a lot of money, which is completely unnecessary. By having scheduled routine maintenance carried out by our trained technicians, your system will remain functional and effective.
Most insurance companies now also require that you have your system regularly maintained by a registered security company. Total Security Systems is licenced by the PSA and certified to EN 50131-1 standards to carry out this maintenance.
Residential Warranty
12 Month Parts & Labour Cover
At Total Security Systems, all of the security systems we install are covered by a 12-month parts and labour warranty. This means that should any of the equipment malfunction or become faulty, you don’t need to worry – we’ll come out and fix or replace it for free.
The equipment and parts that we use are supplied by wide and varied sources. As a result, they carry different manufacturer warranty periods. We can advise you of these specific warranties prior to installation.
Q. My warranty period has expired. Does this mean that I am on my own?
Absolutely not. When your warranty period has expired, we will offer you a routine maintenance service contract, providing the same level of support and service. We offer different types of service contracts at a price that you can afford.
